1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They let the site remember things like whether you're signed in, your theme preference, or whether you've toggled demo mode.
2. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary
- Session cookie (
__Secure-bchainpay.session) — keeps you signed in to the dashboard. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Expires when you sign out or after 30 days of inactivity. - CSRF token (
bchainpay.csrf) — used to verify that state-changing requests originate from the dashboard. Session-scoped.
Functional
- Theme preference (
bchainpay.theme) — remembers whether you chose the dark or light theme so we can render the right one on the next visit. Persists for 1 year. - Demo-mode toggle (
bchainpay.demo) — remembers whether the dashboard is showing demo data. Persists for 30 days.
Analytics, advertising, social
None. The marketing site and dashboard do not load Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising tags or social-media share trackers.
3. Third-party cookies
We do not set third-party cookies. Embedded content (for example documentation hosted on a sub-domain) is served from BchainPay- controlled origins. If we ever embed third-party content that sets its own cookies, we will list them here and request consent.
4. How to control cookies
You can clear cookies in your browser settings. Disabling the session cookie will sign you out of the dashboard; disabling the CSRF cookie will prevent state-changing actions. Disabling functional cookies will reset preferences on every visit.
5. Do Not Track
Because we do not track you, BchainPay treats every visit as Do-Not-Track regardless of the browser signal.
6. Changes
If we add new cookies, we will update this page and the “Effective” date.
